SANTA TERESA
Santa Teresa is a small coastal village on the southern tip of Costa Rica’s westernmost peninsula. What started as a remote fishing village, is now a premier travel destination which attracts surfers and tourists to its scenic beaches and tropical forests. Santa Teresa has recently seen a huge leap in construction and development, including restaurants, venues, and hotels all over the area.
LA LORA BEACH
La Lora Beach has picture-perfect white sand and is one of the most beautiful beaches around (Forbes magazine voted the beaches in this area as one of the Top 10 Most Breathtaking Beaches in the world).
It also has some of the best waves for surfing. On the north end is a rock jetty and an epic point break which is also known as Roca Mar. There’s also Beach Break which consists of consistent waves, with a couple hundred meters of white sand with lefts and rights, and no rocks. The wave’s shape is often very good, and surf competitions are held here.
